Carmel Resort Inn

It was ok.

Liked: It was in a quiet location. Good sized room and offered two queen beds.
Disliked: Shower water pressure, dated rooms with rust around sink and tub. No cleaning done during our two night stay. Not walking distance to town for my 78 year old mom.

Room was close to noisy...

Liked: Love having parking right outside the room. Easy to get to off of freeway. Pictures of property need updating from this site. Some areas not present as shown in photos
Disliked: Far from downtown Carmel. Next to busy street.

Overall the stay was nice...

Liked: I love that you can park your car right in front. It is near everything you want to do in Carmel.
Disliked: Was never able to connect to WiFi. It would connect but the internet nor my apps would work. Same thing for my fiancé. TV did not work either.

Comfy room in a great...

Liked: Beautiful area. Room had plenty of space and very clean. Excellent location.
Disliked: Didn’t like the location of the tv in the room but that’s a minor issue.

Maybe good for one night...

Liked: Hot water in shower was plentiful.
Disliked: Very very dated. Walls very thin. Can hear everything in the adjoining cabin. Refrigerator self defrosted and had puddles of water inside, and was very noisy. Bathroom fixtures had rust stains around them, cracked vanity. Porch or decking infront of cabin stained with bird poop and lawn chairs dirty. It could be very charming if it was cleaned up a bit. Other cabins looked to be in better shape.
