Liked: Closeness to downtown Carmel
Disliked: It was super cold when we arrived and not very clean. It is very dated and could use upgrading / renovation. The mattresses haven’t been changed in ages and really make you feel like you are rolling in someone else’s mattress dent. The floor left black soles on our socks/feet and didn’t seem to have been cleaned prior to our arrival - there was cleaning the next day and it seemed better then. All in all, we didn’t feel like it was good value for money. Hope the improve on cleanliness

Disliked: they charged $35/night FEE, not deposit, for pets. no extra services in return like pet blankets, feeding bowls, etc. I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED if I had known they would fleece me like this, but the booking was nonrefundable so I had to stick with their scammy option.

Liked: The location was perfect to everywhere we needed to be. Parking was a bit snug, but at least we had our own parking spot.
Disliked: There was a huge poop in the toilet upon our arrival, so gross. The floors were uneven in the 'stevenson' room and felt as though they were going to cave in at any point. The fireplace in the picture that was advertised to stay there was boarded up. The beds were terrible to sleep in. Very hard and lumpy, had to be very old, super unhappy with that.
