Liked: staff were great, location was great, suited our needs for our weekend away
Disliked: the window in the room would not close meaning there was a draught, the heating did not work and all we had in the room was a portable electric heater, reported the window issue to staff but not sure what they tried to do as the window remained open for our stay

Liked: We have stayed here pre COVID and it was lovely. Hence why we booked.
Disliked: When we drove in part of the Hotel is boarded up. We thought it was closed, and at 5pm on a Saturday there were only 2 cars in the carpark.We went into reception and a polite gentleman gave us our key card.As we walked down the corridor to our room there were a few people about in rooms with doors open. It looked like people are living in the rooms, not hotel guests. Our room looked okay but was dusty in places and the bed had too small pillows.It was quite noisy with people conversations in other rooms.The place had more the feel of a boarding house than a hotel.We did not feel comfortable. So much so that we made a polite excuse and left.

Bad

Liked: The photos of the property are not accurate and nor are the room photos. The quality of the rooms are very poor very dirty and it was full of homeless people and drug addicts outside of the property.
Disliked: There was noise all throughout the night with doors slamming people coming and going we got asked to move to a better room in which we were refused and had to end up leaving before the end of our second night
