We were disappointed and would...
Liked: The location was nice.
Disliked: 1) We experienced significant difficulty reaching the property to get answers to our questions about the room and spa prior to our stay.2) The daytime customer service staff were inflexible and unresponsive to our needs. Our room location was extremely disappointing. We had booked an ocean view room but ended up changing rooms three times. Resorts should not advertise “ocean view” or “partial ocean view” when the ocean is not visible. In our first room, the view was obstructed by a dirty rooftop. It took multiple conversations—starting with the front desk, then the reservations manager, and finally the general manager—before we were moved, two days later. While we were offered a complimentary touchless spa service as compensation, the room location was far more important to us.I will note that Alex, the general manager, was kind, helpful, and the most responsive person we encountered. Additionally, one bell staff member, who was aware of our dissatisfaction, was the only person who asked how our stay was going—something we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and having to move rooms two days later was highly inconvenient, especially after a spa day when we were supposed to be relaxing.3) The spa setup is not ideal for couples wishing to spend time together, as the facility is not co-ed. We could have made a more informed decision about booking our stay if our initial questions had been answered. We began calling in April but were unable to speak to anyone until August, which was completely unacceptable.

I ask every single day...
Liked: The Cleanliness was so poor, I have to ask every single day for the housekeeping to clean my room, wash the shower, as the sand was never clean from it. It was very stressful. Even though it belongs to the Leading Hotel of the World it does not have staff prepared neither cleanliness adequate to assist us.
Disliked: The attitude of the staff.

Splendid Spa and Spacious Rooma...
Liked: The spa is still the best on the beach, room size, fridge and full kitchen in each room is awesom.
Disliked: The vibe has changed considerably since it was Canyon Ranch. If you’ve never experienced it back then, you might not notice—but for those who have, the difference is palpable. Canyon Ranch had a deep commitment to whole-person wellness, rooted in a true philosophy of healing and integration. Now, it feels flashier, more surface-level, with wellness presented more as a trend than a lived value.That said, it’s still better than most hotels in Miami, which don’t prioritize wellness at all.One note—the lighting in the spa is way too bright. It was never like that before, and it really takes away from the restorative atmosphere.

Liked: Wellness centric.
Disliked: Lots of facilities out of service; room wasn’t ready for over an hour after check in time; cleaning of rooms and kitchenettes sub par; toilets function oddly and overall hotel and elevators are outdated (not just no frills); adults only pool is not peaceful as there are multiple classes conducted by a somewhat boisterous and brash instructor for the dates of my stay (1/6)
