Liked: The false advertising is real!!!... not at all what it looked like on booking

Liked: location was near we needed to be
Disliked: room was dirty large cockaroach, air conditioner had food in it. The shower faucet was coming out of the wall.Called the front desk to speak to a manager and I was told i'd get a call back. Never received a call back!

Checked out right after checking...

Liked: The front desk staff was helpful and nice but, since we used booking for our stay, there wasn’t much they could do for us.
Disliked: The hotel room was very dirty and had obviously not been cleaned as there was trash, nail clippings, and so much dirt on the floor. There was mold on the curtains and on the ac unit. We checked right back out after notifying the front desk of the issues with the room. The hotel was booked out per the desk, so they could not offer us a different room but we are awaiting a refund at this time. Going through booking also made the refund much harder to get, unfortunately, so we will be booking directly with places from now on.

I was very disappointed with...

Liked: The location, the staff at check in was nice.
Disliked: We stayed in the Jamaican Building. My room was not ready by check in time at 4pm. I was told they would call me when it was ready never received a call had to just go back and check twice. The elevator didn’t work and we were on the 3rd floor, the steps are outdoors so with a heat advisory it was hot to walk up carrying all our luggage and down the steps. The ice machine was broken. Once we got in our room the floor was dirty had not been swept. The pools were dirty, the beds were uncomfortable, my son’s mattress had a big dip/hole on one side. My husband, my son, and my self got yelled at by a staff member for throwing a water ball in the pool; we were told to stop throwing the ball. Now note; we were the only three in the pool or pool area at the time and there are also no signs anywhere saying this wasn’t allowed.

The kids enjoyed themselves.

Liked: Convenient for traveling back-and-forth.
Disliked: The carpet in the room, very gooey and sticky. The pullout bed was too low. The furniture was pretty much outdated and stains was on the chairs they haven’t been cleaned.

Liked: The Jamaican side had crack heads Walking in front of the hotel and the door was broken it wasn’t the cleanest
Disliked: It was a lie the rooms did not look like they did online nd it wasn’t even a ocean front there is no way this is a resort looked more like a motel
