Good.
Disliked: AC didn’t work. It was very hot. Confusing info from breakfast staff regarding what and wasn’t included onMenu for your tariff. It was different on each day.

Liked: Staff were amazing & so helpful.The hotel was very clean and the room was great with a really comfortable bed & pillows.Spa & pool area were very comfortable & clean.
Disliked: Coffee in the morning was awful but otherwise breakfast was more than enough.

Disliked: Breakfast you pre pay for is only continental and not cooked without additional charges which needs to be made clearer on booking.com as normal breakfast at many other spa hotels is continental and cooked. Price for cocktails is ridiculous.

Brilliant staff. The hotel could...
Liked: The staff were excellent and it was very clean
Disliked: No air conditioning in the rooms. There are air conditioning ducts but apparently it broke and it was never fixed. The old part is really pretty but you actually stay in something that looks like a motel.

Good Location, Plenty of Parking,...
Liked: we loved the location and the Zen Garden Restaurant was excellent. Very friendly staff mainly but not all.
Disliked: cost of room was so over priced. room desperately needed updating. Shower over head in bath was far to low for me and the step out the bath was very high. someone not so good on there feet would struggle with this. No air con in rooms and hotel rooms looked more like a residential care home, the main building was stunning. Electric car charging expensive. Paid for breakfast included in the £240 room price but then found out this only covers continental breakfast. cooked options are extra! come on ..... include breakfast if you advertise as including breakfast.

A truly magical hotel where...
Liked: The quintessential English Country Hotel. MagicalLoved the sparThe food was fantastic and the staff from reception to dining room and from the bar to the kitchen nothing was ever too much trouble.
Disliked: Bathroom was rather dated for current standards of a £300+ a night costRather to many wasps which spoilt the outdoor parts but you can’t be held responsible for them, though they did drive us indoors once, thereby stopping us spending at that time.
