Disappointing and overpriced for level...

Disliked: Disappointing staff attitudes. Rapid check in with no mention of needing to provide credit card for authorisation to access room service. Having placed room service order by phone from my room I was then told I had to return to reception to pay. Receptionist told me that I hadn’t authorised a credit card ( which I already knew) , told me I hadn’t placed a room service order ( which I had) and eventually walked me to the restaurant where I was left for 5 minutes whilst she tried to locate a member of the restaurant staff. He eventually agreed that I had placed a room service order and I was able to pay for it but the whole performance was ridiculous and not one member of staff apologised for the inconvenience or showed any interest in trying to actually give a good level of service. Really disappointing and having stayed in Marriott hotels on many occasions previously this is not the standard of service I would expect. I had planned to have room service breakfast but clearly did not risk this.
