Pretty good value but not...

Liked: Very interesting and lovely gardens.Dinner was very good and staff very pleasant.
Disliked: Buffet breakfast! Disappointed. There were 9 of us and no one liked the scrambled eggs, powdered?? Was actually hoping to be served breakfast with a la carte menu. Hoping for poached eggs and kippers.

Liked: Amazing place! Beautiful estate. Quiet, Friendly attentive staff.Easy quick drive to train to go into Edinburgh, very convenient.Met nice people.

Gorgeous, you have to walk...

Liked: It was a beautiful property. We walked around the whole grounds. Many old, old trees, it was just gorgeous. Inside the library was a place we could have stayed for hours.

Liked: Great Location, wonderful park area with wild animals around Like der and rabbits, libtary with organ, friendly staff
Disliked: Room extremely small, Dinner Mixed, bread of the Burger burned

Disliked: Very dirty room (no excuses on that it is simple not checked and or cleaned properly) Mediocre breakfast sample: water on buffet written sparkling water on it but it was still, when asked for sparkling got told don’t have! ? Seriously? It’s a joke then don’t poor water in the wrong bottles 🤣Been a under roof room extremely hot and ceiling is low if you are tall get ready to bang your head Did not appreciate the arrogance of the lady at reception Beautiful property but lack of proper control and preventive maintenance
