Didn't Stay - Key Left...

Liked: The location is excellent. There's a natural food market across the street and it's not far from most beaches or restaurants. The staff member we spoke with for our refund was very kind and helpful, and recommended a local event to us.
Disliked: We arrived late (indicated and confirmed with staff when we booked) and we were told our room key would be left in the mailbox outside of the office. This isn't uncommon to me so I checked when we got in around 9:30pm. We found that the room key wasn't there and was left inside the office. The "emergency number" posted was never answered despite it stating someone is always available. We called several times and looked around for someone but absolutely no luck. If you're going to post a sign with an emergency number, the number should go to someone who actually picks up.We stayed at the nearby Hilton (very fortunate it was open and we could manage that stay) and got a refund.

Liked: Great location, close to Gloucester and Rockport attractions for traveling.
Disliked: Difficulty in getting food out of the microwave, door wouldn’t open for a bit.

Disliked: Check out was for 11am. Before 10am housekeeping was knocking on our door, and we were just waking up. They only knocked once, waited about 15 seconds before unlocking and opening our door where she then saw my spouse half naked trying to get dressed to answer the door. This was very upsetting as I was still indecent in bed and he was only half dressed. They definitely need to have “do not disturb” signs or have housekeeping wait until after check out to be going into people’s rooms. It just felt like such an invasion of privacy and we couldn’t do anything about it, other than leave this review.
