Updated Americana Motel

Liked: Nice place. Very convenient, right off 101. Despite proximity to the main drag, still very quiet. Nice little park area behind the back building (there are two) for pets, picnicking, just hanging out. The room was a good size, plenty of space. I thought the bed was great, but my wife found it too soft. Same with the shower; I thought it was fine, she felt is was weak. Nice staff, very helpful. I enjoyed reading about the history of the location on their website. Modern, but still has its 1940's charm.
Disliked: Nothing, really. The room smelled a little musty when we first entered, but being so close to the ocean, that's kind of a given. Was fine after going in and out of the door a couple times. No A/C, if someone wants to know, but Lincoln City rarely gets warm enough to need that.
