Excellent location and friendly staff

Liked: The hotel is at an excellent location with great access to the beach. The front desk staff, particularly Bachir, were super helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The balcony in our room offered great views of the ocean. The beach staff was also very friendly and we enjoyed spending time on the beach with the hotel's provided deck chairs, umbrellas and towels.
Disliked: The facilities could do with a bit of an update, but regardless the hotel was clean and comfortable.

Very enjoyable, will try again

Liked: Beautiful views and loved sleeping and listening to the waves and sunsets. Chairs and umbrellas and lounges near the beach.
Disliked: Stairs not good for people with knee problems. Our bed was uncomfortable.

Liked: Location & maintenance worker support/night shift. Free breakfast and free parking
Disliked: A/C was not the best. No black out curtains available. Parking situation was not the best. More customer service needed from receptionist

Great room right on the...

Liked: The location is perfect, right on the beach. My mom and I stayed in the oceanfront double queen room and enjoyed our private patio right on the water. Hotel staff were incredibly nice.
Disliked: You definitely don’t get a lot of bang for your Buck other than the proximity to the ocean. The water pressure was terrible, the phone didn’t work when we got there, someone had to come and fix it. There’s a refrigerator and microwave so it’s a small kitchenette, but there are no plates or glasses or silverware at all. I had to call the front desk to bring some and then they told me to just come up and get it on my own for anything else I .Not even hand towels for the kitchen sink. Definitely lacking in amenities for the $1,000/night price.

Liked: Near the beach.
Disliked: Our room was very close to the highway. The price was way too high for this facility. Too many stairs for a handicapped person like me.

Overall, our stay was amazing...

Liked: There wasn’t anything not to like. It is steps to the beach and they set up umbrellas and chairs for you at the beach with towels. I don’t see myself staying anywhere else in Laguna Beach but here.

Great one-night stay!

Liked: The hotel is in a great location and staff was very accommodating. The room was clean for the most part and it was a nice surprise that it had a mini kitchen and small living room with a couch. There was enough ventilation with several windows and we could hear the ocean from our room.
Disliked: When I took off the bed cover there was sand underneath. The sheets looked clean but why sand??
