Wouldn't stay again; run down,...

Liked: The staff/owners were very friendly and pleasant when we arrived. It was easy to check in and out. It was centrally located and the main office looked nice.
Disliked: The biggest issue was the room; the bathroom showerhead dripped constantly so there was water damage on the floor making it soft to the step (it actually moved under our feet) and slippery. The light didn't work, it only flickered very quickly to the point where it wasn't usable. I called down to the office and he told me to leave it on for 10 seconds because it was a 'full house' and it happened sometimes. We tried leaving it on several times throughout the one night we stayed and it never stopped flickering so we had to use our cell phone lights to use the bathroom (I had two kids and my mom with me). The ceiling where the light was also boughed and hung lower than the rest of the ceiling so between the floor being soft and the ceiling boughing, the bathroom almost didn't feel safe to use. There was no bathroom fan and no screen on the window. The sheets had yellow stains on my daughter's bed and the indoor pool was dirty with fake fingernails and chunks of hair floating around. There were no pool towels left and the ones we were given by the front desk had holes in one. We stayed in a 'suite' and there were no chairs outside of our room for us to dry our bathing suits on or anything even though all of the regular rooms had them. I know this sounds picky, but I've been going to the Cape since I was a kid and I expect some older hotels...this one just didn't measure up in any way. It was pretty run down and all of us felt kind of 'gross' staying there honestly. We left and stayed another night at a nicer hotel.

Liked: Cost benefit for the property is 10/10. Pretty comfortable and location great as well. I would stay again.
Disliked: I would update the towels and have a little work on the bathroom but nothing that would stop me from staying there again. Also pool could have been more clean and stay open later than 9pm.
