Liked: our room with door opening to a lovely garden was perfect for our stay with our dog. Room was very spacious too.

A great find close to...

Liked: Very green location close to Wokingham (by car). Nice, newly decorated reception and quirky ex-stables corridor layout to the rooms. Room itself was spacious and with generous windows looking out to ones own sitting out area and lawn. Restaurant was also full of character with great food both in the evening and for breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing really, except perhaps a covered link to the restaurant/breakfast area could be considered to avoid being caught out by the rain.

Disappointing

Liked: Great location just outside Wokingham. Beautiful entrance to the hotel, love the wallpaper and decor. Nice jacuzzi bath and shower. Four poster bed was a nice touch. Full size iron and ironing board was a bonus. Very quiet, no noise from anywhere.
Disliked: We arrived a couple of hours early wanting to leave our luggage there and were met with a panicked and quite rude receptionist telling us before we'd had a chance to speak that we couldn't check in until 3pm. We went to the restaurant for a coffee and were greeted by another panicked and rude staff member who did reluctantly make us a coffee. We didn't bother with breakfast the next day because of this. The bathroom looked nice but there are no shelves to put anything on in the shower or next to the basin.

Liked: The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and the shower was good. Breakfast was delicious
Disliked: The grounds needed some attention and the entrance lobby was slightly unwelcoming.

Disliked: Would be nice to have USB in rooms.A lovely touch would be biscuits to have with cup of tea. Towels for two would have been nice. Also a shelf in bathroom to put toiletries would have been great.
