Good

Liked: Comfortable little bed and breakfast.
Disliked: The fountain in the back yard was initially charming but it was annoying that it ran all night.

Liked: The location was good and the cooked breakfast and coffee were great.
Disliked: This is what I would call a bed and breakfast not a hotel and should not be charging rates similar to Travelodge in town. For the price I paid I was very disappointed. If I paid half the price I would have had less expectations. The room was tiny, the walls only made of gypsum which means you could hear everything that was going on. The front window was right on the pavement, so anyone walking past or cars driving past (which there were many) were loud enough to disturb my sleep.

Perfect for a single traveler’s...

Liked: It’s a nicely converted ex pub with a cosy atmosphere and close walking distance to the centre. There is extended free parking a few streets away. The breakfast was tasty with a full English provided but additional fruit, cereals, yogurt. Cakes and tea available. I liked the inclusion of a cafetière and coffee in the room. It was friendly and welcoming lending itself to single travellers chattand making new friends.
Disliked: The room was quite warm but a fan was provided . The entry requirements seemed complicated but were not in practice.

Excellent stay- Highly recommend.

Liked: Excellent location- with most of the attractions in walkable distance. It was to get to the property from the Canterbury West train station as it was only a 9 minute walk. The room was very spacious and clean. All the amenities were provided- fresh towels, coffee/tea and kettle, a mini fridge (loved this), basic toiletries, a fan, TV with remote. The best part of the stay was the garden which we had full access to- beautiful space to relax in the evening. We enjoyed the English breakfast- it was very good and complete value for money. The staff s friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing

Excellent location

Liked: Unpersonable start. No staff on reception, although communication via emails was good. The room was clean and spacious but too hot to sleep and only a table fan. Breakfast was cooked fresh and did not have to wait long. Parking at first was a bit stressful but managed to find a mulit-story five minutes away, which cost £30 for the whole weekend. It's better than having to move the car every 4 hours. Would definitely go back and stay.
Disliked: No one to check us in. Not had that before and only saw staff at breakfast. The room was far too hot.

Liked: I love the old fashioned furniture which is well cared for. The garden area is lovely and again, well looked after. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: Nothing which is why I have stayed there quite a few times.
