Liked: The location and the beauty of the building.
Disliked: The price was outrageous for what you get. No pool, no microwave and the security feature of the elevators was a complete pain!!! Put the check in desk at ground level!!!!!

great location; valet is a...
Liked: From valet to check-out, it was worth every penny.; trending, very accommodating and self-serving at the same time. I loved the large drinking glasses in the room and glass jar with filtered water offered on the floor. Re valet -- it was a festival going on. The guys were able to get my car in minutes!
Disliked: i couldn't get the room temp quite right.

Liked: Beds, cable amenities and showers are really nice and the staff has excellent customer service.
Disliked: The bathroom had a weird smell and they don't tell you thst the complimentary breakfast is extra. Though I booked on a third party site, it should be mentioned somewhere that breakfast isn't included. The parking was kind of hard to figure out but it wasn't a big deal.

Rooms are very hot during...
Liked: The hotel was in a good location, next to dining and shopping, and right off the river. The front desk was also friendly.
Disliked: My main issue with our stay was the temperature of the room. It was very hot when we walked in, the hotel keeps the rooms at 75 degrees when not being occupied. But even when we tried to adjust the thermostat to get the room cooler, it only went down to 70, and we had to keep a floor fan that we had brought on the whole time to get it even that ?cool?. It was very hot and humid outside, so to come into a hot room was not what we wanted, and we?re from Texas and are used to heat! But not used to bad air conditioning :(. Especially with two small children. I did address this to the front desk and they did put us in another room right away, but that room was the same, i thinks it?s how all the rooms there are. Also there is building construction going on across from the hotel entrance. It looks like it?s in the beginning stages so you may consider that when thinking about a view. We were still able to have a great view of the river from our room, but that may change once construction has progressed.

Liked: Great location, nice room, helpful staff. Again, location wonderful. On the wharf, which has a boardwalk pier and a lively nightlife with great restaurants, bar and a park like setting
Disliked: All good! Booking.com messed up two tries to get us in to hotels across from Nationals baseball park. They even gave us confirmation numbers... but rooms not available. We wound up here. It cost twice as much as the location we booked 2 months ago, but booking.com immediately reimbursed us for the difference. It worked out because the wonderful DC Circulator whisked my wheelchair bound son and I to the game for free.
