Liked: Loved the location and the room was very comfortable. The front desk staff were wonderful.
Disliked: The maid entered our room at 8:30 am even though we had clearly put the “Sleep/Do Not Disturb” sign outside. We felt like this was a severe invasion of our privacy (neither one of us were dressed).

Liked: The breakfast was one of the best of any hotel in the US. Complimentary bubbly and drinks/cookies for the kids. Just a great experience overall. Sustainable options for water etc were also great. Cute courtyard area with lights.

Awesome hotel - you won't...

Liked: Perfect location to visit this part of Austin. We live nearby and wanted to stay downtown to watch the Longhorns play Washington at Rustic Tap (which is across the street). The hotel is very comfortable, hidden back off the street, and the staff are wonderful. We've had drinks at the bar before and they were great (old fashion). Rooms are cozy and clean. You can hear the street noise; however, the hotel provides a white noise machine and ear plugs. You will not go wrong staying here!
Disliked: The only thing I would say is the parking price - $49/night is too high.
