Exceptional

Liked: Service for towels and trash was good without being intrusive. All of the staff members I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. I will be staying here again.
Disliked: We did run out of hot water in the sinks a couple of times but was no big deal.

Great rooms, sketchy location?

Liked: Spacious and quiet room
Disliked: No breakfast. Also, I arrived hours before the posted "door will be locked between the hours of" sign. Obviously I cannot use my room key to access the building PRIOR to checking in. I literally stood outside the entrance waving at the clerk for almost 10 minutes before another guest exited and I could enter. I mentioned it to the clerk when checking in and she was RUDE, stating yes she locks the doors and she just didn't see me. No apology, no comprehension that the sign was moronic in its impossible method of accessing the property. I would consider staying elsewhere in the future because if the entrance needs to be locked before 8pm, maybe the neighborhood isn't safe.

I liked the Suites for...

Liked: I wasn't aware of any breakfast. Location worked well for me. Most of the staff was very friendly, pleasant and helpful. I liked the self-help coffee maker and the coffee, which was very delicious.
Disliked: The phone and heat in my room did not work. It wasn't until the 2nd day that someone came to fix the heat. The phone never did work. I asked for another blanket, but I was still cold. One of the staff members was not friendly at all. I didn't like the fact that if you didn't have a key card you couldn't get into the hotel. I understand this for security reasons. However, there was a sign that said to press the intercom button for help, so that someone could help/open the door. There wasn't any button and as far as I could tell, there wasn't an intercom. If someone was not at the desk, I had to stand there and wait until someone did see me. I had to motion for a resident to come open the door or wait until someone was going in or out.

Good price friendly staff and...

Liked: Check in was smooth and very friendly.
Disliked: My only issue was the shower head did not spray any water you could not make the diverter from the tub to the shower work properly. I was able to at least get a little bit under the shower with a little water sprinkling out not a big deal I did not tell the front desk I forgot but that was really the only issue

Great location with potential. But...

Liked: The rooms were nice and location was great.
Disliked: Pool was closed for for work/maintenance a week after Memorial Day. Ants! Ants! Ants! Everywhere. Even on the fourth floor. Told the front desk and they were happy to get the info, nothing more. Parking lot a mess also with trash. No breakfast, so pay attention to that when booking.

Disliked: Ants in the room and didn't get my refund that they promised me.

Disappointing

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. It was very spacious and met our expectations.
Disliked: PARKING WAS A NIGHTMARE! We were in town for a graduation and had several events to attend during our time here. Both nights when we returned to the hotel there was zero parking due to a restaurant/bar that shared the parking lot. We ended up having to park at business next door and walk back to the hotel. This is unacceptable. We are disabled with a handicap placard and the only 4 spots available were also filled with non handicap patrons of the bar. We will never spend our money at a Candlewood Suites again.
