Liked: location was good front desk was nice.
Disliked: the price that I was given on your site wasn't the same price the hotel charged.

nice hotel with clean rooms...

Liked: The location was perfect very close to relatives. I especially like coffee 24/7.

Good location, dated hotel, would...

Liked: Location
Disliked: Decor was quite dated, carpets were old, and it smelled bad, the smell was overwhelming of body odor. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and this, combined with the high humidity of the area, made the room very muggy.

Disappointing

Disliked: I didn’t like the fact that the front desk person took my credit card behind a wall to process the transaction. I didn’t like the fact that I was put in a handicap room. I didn’t like the fact that I had to prop my TV up with a paper towel because it was broken. I didn’t like the fact that the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. There was hair, maybe from a previous occupant in the washcloths and on the sink in the bathroom floor, didn’t look like it wascleaned I don’t think I would ever book with this hotel again.

Never again!

Liked: Location was convenient and pillows were cozy.
Disliked: Very dated (modem and fax jacks on yellowed walls), old yellowed cracked outlets plates, stains on bathroom floor, counter and shower. Neighbors were clearly cooking fish in the evening. Lobby area smelled like beef stew when we checked in. Walls appear to have smokers yellowing to them.

Much better alternatives for same...

Liked: Not much to like. It provided a space to sleep.
Disliked: There are so many other, much nicer, places to stay in the area for the same price range. Perhaps there is a long term stay rate which is better. My room was over the front door, so every time the door slid open, I could clearly hear it. ALL NIGHT and starting at 5:00AM. Room was clean enough but out dated. No restaurants within walking distance. I left after one night and booked a room near the Dunn Loring Metro.

Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Disliked: Bed uncomfortable. Snacks expensive. Check in and entrance underwhelming.

I would book another stay...

Liked: This was our second stay at Candlewood, we really love the location. I really don't have anything bad to say about it. So close to all the shopping centers and restaurants.
Disliked: Only complaint i have is the cleaning of the bathroom (the shower) we was in the handicap suite which we didn't mind. They just need to scrub the shower not just spray it down, you could see where they spray it and let the stuff run down. But overall everything else was clean.
