Candlewood Suites Polaris

Would have liked a packet of coffee for the morning. Had to check out to get a cup of coffee. Front desk not helpful.

Liked: Liked the set up in the room.
Disliked: Toilet dirty upon arrival - asked front desk to clean but they never showed up. Shower had cold water in AM. When I called the front desk they said there were too many people taking showers.

Excellent place to stay for...

Liked: Excellent facilities, well laid out rooms, kitchen had dishes and paper towels ready when we arrived, dishwasher, sink, microwave, and complimentary popcorn. There’s tons of storage space. The hours for the gym and pool are great.

Location is very good, but...

Liked: Although there was some confusion in getting us to the right room, the front desk staff was helpful and apologetic. The room was very clean.
Disliked: Pool was cold, hot tub lukewarm, confusion over getting into the room, furnishings could use an update,

Hotel was definitely worth the...

Liked: Location was wonderful. Staff was friendly. Pool hot tube exercise room computer room wonderful.
Disliked: Parking in evening was hard to find had to park on other side of building. Would have liked to see van from room window but not possible.

Disliked: Found a LOT of drug paraphernalia including eight Suboxone wrappers of foil with which I'm guessing is cooked fentanyl inside of it with a straw and then an empty either cocaine or crack bag. When I took it to the front desk and brought it to the lady attention she basically told me to pick it back up and to keep it because we had already touched it and she wanted nothing to do with it. She gave us absolutely no excuse for why the room cleaning was not done properly allowing these items to be left in a room that we paid for. She offered no resolution or any helpful suggestions on the matter. It was a nice hotel and a beautiful area and I would have returned but I'm finding those items and then the front desk not willing to even do anything about it I will not return
