Disliked: Woke up and had roaches on room at 3:00 am

Personally miserable.

Liked: I liked the room and how roomy it was.
Disliked: I did not like how non-shallant the people at the front desk were. I told them about the pool and no one cared. I had 3 little girls with me who were itching so bad after going in the pool on Friday evening. I could not take them swimming again. I understand the owners were on the property and no one cared. Very bad mannered front desk personal. If you do not know how to run a hotel then why purchase one?

Liked: Free laundry service was nice if you could find an open washer and dryer during the week.
Disliked: The room was dirty, sheets were not clean, our one bedroom suite smelled of mildew, the bed felt wet, even the carpet felt damp. The shower wall had someone else’s hair on it, as well as someone else’s pink body wash dried onto the tub. No one took the trash-we did it ourselves after we asked and were told “guests take their own trash out” We had to ask for every towel and wash cloth, sheets for the pull out bed….conditioner to be filled….we asked for everything as our room was not cleaned at ALL in 5 days. The pool was extremely cloudy and cold. The steps were broken and we were told not to use them, but someone was coming the next day to fix them. In 5 days, they were never fixed. They have many long term guests that live in the hotel. Employees specifically. Washing laundry is extremely difficult with guests and employees washing and drying daily. Here’s the kicker and why you should definitely find another hotel…We had a check out date set, and we went to the desk 1/2 way thru the trip to ensure it was correct. We were at the water park in Hershey and got a phone call asking why we hadn’t checked out. I checked the date and sure enough we were not scheduled to check out until the next day. After much conversation and phone calls, the woman at the front desk called me back and said “you did pay until the 19th, and you are correct; we made a mistake. We do however need to move your room to a standard 2 bedroom, and we can move your things, or you can come back and do it yourself.” Did I mention that we paid for a family suite for 5 days?? Okay-nothing is packed, I have 3 kids and a husband with me. I will move my things myself as I know where everything is. They did not discount the standard room that they moved us to for their mistake…did not offer….nothing. I’ll leave it at that.

Liked: Room had everything needed to spend the night or longer.
Disliked: Someone in the floor above was jumping or stomping around until late at night and again early in the morning. we did not notify the desk until we were leaving though.
