Disliked: Upon arrival, I waited over 30 minutes just to check in because there was no one at the front desk. When I finally got to my room, the entire hallway—and the room itself—reeked of a strong, unpleasant fish odor, clearly from someone cooking. It was overwhelming and made the space uninhabitable.I immediately went back to the front desk to report the issue, but once again, there was no staff available. After waiting another 15 minutes with no response, I had no choice but to leave the hotel altogether. I was there for barely 20 minutes.

Good stay!
Liked: The 1st night was rough, there were ants everywhere in our room. After night staff and early morning staff told us they would have maintenance put ant killer in our room, it didn't happen. The bright spot though, there was a wonderful front host named Dakota who moved us rooms. Dakota was a pleasant, understanding young gentleman, who answered all of our questions, and made sure my son had an extra blanket for his pull out bed, and found me some pillows that didn't have feathers in them. The new room was clean, and ant free! The hotel is in a decent location, with plenty of options around it. It was nice and quiet as well, and if you like water pressure, the shower pressure was amazing!!

Liked: I was so happy to see that Candlewood was in Davenport! I stayed at Candlewood in Texarkana and it was excellent! I was so happy to see that I received the same excellent service by your staff! The room was perfect! I told my husband that I wish I could find a place just like this for us to live at!
Disliked: An ice machine would be nice.
