Liked: Didn’t get to go to the property we got moved to a 2.1star hotel after a gas leak.
Disliked: The 2.1 star hotel we got moved to called Skye ocean hotel, had no hot water, no pillow cases, no towels, no toilet roll. Wasn’t the cleanest, next door was all boarded and smashed up and this hotel look not far off the same. The bed was made with a broken board that nearly flipped you out when your partner got in.

Disliked: Hotel phoned 1 hour before I was due to check in to say there had been a gas leak and they had transferred me to Skye Oceans Hotel so instead of being 6mins walk from the Winter Gardens I was now 26mins walk. I was staying from Thursday to Monday and had no hot water all weekend at Skye Oceans and no water at all on Monday morning. Owner of Canasta appears to also be the owner of Skye Oceans. I went to Canasta on Saturday morning to see if it was now open and I could transfer back to it but there were workmen doing a rewire of the property who said they had been there 2 weeks so there was no gas leak. Owner of Canasta just didn’t want to give people this information early as they could then cancel their booking and move to another hotel.
