I wouldn’t stay again, it...

Liked: The staff were extremely helpful, professional and went out of their way to help me
Disliked: The bed was so hard and uncomfortable, pillows were flat and done! I got 3 hours sleep in total

Comfortable and clean, pleasant food...

Liked: Clean, large and comfortable room. Bathroom was very clean
Disliked: The hotel was a bit tired, but that's ok as the room was comfortable and clean. I felt the resteraunt was very expensive for the grade of food provided. The food was pleasant, nothing wrong with it but not spectacular, and definitely overpriced. Dinner on the first night was poorly presented and tasteless. On the second night i asked for medium rare fillet steak and got well done, which was a shame given the grade of the cut. i enjoyed the food so don't want to be harsh, maybe they should reduce their price a bit, or up the game slightly.

Disliked: Car park was full so no were to park until later on that day.The bar staff weren't great -was ignored even though I was the longest standing their as he served everyone around us-could only drink Mocktails so when eventually got served another bar staff said he only knew how to do a strawberry daiquiri so the selection wasn't greatThe bar smelt like sick -seen later on that a girl was vomiting into a glass which the staff at the desk appeared to just ignore.

Liked: I liked the room - but the light outside of Hotel spoiled the room as it was terrible! we have to close curtains all the time
Disliked: Breakfast was quite disappointing. Although they advertise a "continental breakfast," what was provided was far from it. It consisted of just a few poorly presented items placed on a single plate in the fridge, and it looked very unappetizing. This definitely shouldn't be promoted as a continental breakfast.As a result, I had no choice but to opt for the standard cooked breakfast instead, which unfortunately wasn’t much better. It was overcooked, excessively greasy, and overall not enjoyable. There's definitely room for improvement in both quality and presentation.Due to this experience, we chose not to try lunch or dinner at Old Mill.
