Excellent staff and very clean...

Liked: The majority of staff go out of their way to help - especially the reception and bar staff in the granary bar. Helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. The reception staff offer advice on local things to do as well as practical advice for travelling around. The rooms are lovely and the housekeeping staff do a wonderful job of servicing them - even at short notice! The 3 nights we spent there were relaxed and enjoyable.
Disliked: The only thing that went wrong was a couple of orders at the old mill restaurant. For dinner our order was incorrect and although the wait staff were very helpful about it, they also asked a lot of questions which was a little uncomfortable. Although we got a discount on the bill, we weren't overly happy with the experience and we ate elsewhere the next 2 nights. Then at breakfast, I was delivered a plate completely different to what I ordered and when I pointed this out, the wait staff were not bothered at all, just said that it was busy and they didn't check the order...
