Would not stay here again

Liked: The only things I liked about my stay at this hotel is that they had a microwave, mini fridge and cable TV. The over all look of the room was decent as well, but not too comfortable. Free coffee and muffins. Reception staff was nice.
Disliked: The guests upstairs kept dropping heavy objects on the floor and stomping late at night. I guess the floor/ceiling is very thin. I've never experienced this before at a hotel and I've stayed at A LOT of different hotels. I also didn't feel too safe either being outside in the area. The hotel is felt ok but I don't know, the vibe was just off about this hotel. I don't know if they have any facilities. When I first walked into the room, it smelled like someone had smoked cigarettes in there before. It had that musty smokey odour. I did not appreciate that. Had to open the windows more and turn on the fan to try and get rid of the smell. Don't think I'd stay here again. Only stayed because it was a last minute getaway and it was the cheapest.

Liked: Generally a clean room. Don't expect to have a lot of amenities. The price was attractive and for that reason that is why I rated this as high as I did.
Disliked: Firstly, no discount for military veterans. Yes, I did get a preferential rate just by using Booking.com, but the lack of appreciation for veterans was noted. Additionally, there was a lot of transmitted noise from the unit above, making sleeping difficult.
