Passable
Disliked: Too noisy room faces busy road. The wall mount for the big screen TV was loose. The TV was pointing at the floor

Liked: The hotel enjoys an excellent location, with numerous shops and commercial streets just a short distance away—an ideal setting for a business trip. The surrounding scenery is also quite pleasant, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll after meals.
Disliked: The service attitude of the lady at the front desk was absolutely appalling—does she not know how to speak to customers properly? You're in the service industry, aren't you? Is this really how hotel management teaches staff to treat guests? When a guest tries to argue or express dissatisfaction, your response is to threaten them by calling the police? This trip was originally going quite well. I had come to UPEI for a project, everything went smoothly, and I was in a good mood—until I encountered this lady, who completely ruined the experience. I was traveling with two of my colleagues, and since it was the Easter holiday, they had brought their families along. We had all booked rooms at this hotel together. After my colleagues checked in, I went to do mine and suddenly realized that my American Express card had been locked. I had just flown back from Montreal to Halifax the day before and had used the card at the airport, so I hadn’t noticed the issue. I’ve been in similar situations before—for example, last year at the ALT Hotel in Montreal and just a few weeks ago at the Rodd Charlottetown. On both occasions, the front desk staff were proactive in helping me find an alternative solution when a credit card wasn’t working. After all, we’re talking about a security deposit, aren’t we? I paid $800 CAD in cash in one case and $1,100 CAD in another. How much could a motel possibly require for a deposit? One of my colleagues even offered to use his own credit card for the deposit on my behalf, but the lady at the front desk insisted it had to be my card—nothing else would do. So I was about to pay cash, and I politely asked whether her manager was available, because any manager would know how to handle a situation like this. And then—unbelievably—she told me she was the only one there, there was no manager, and that if I argued any further, she would call the police. As a paying customer, I felt deeply humiliated and utterly bewildered.

I was so happy. they went above and beyond. they made sure my senior mom had the perfect room, we had a lot of space and a kitchenette. they had a grab bar for the shower as well which I was so happy to see
