Liked: The lodge has a long history. It’s sad to see it in this state. The owner has done a great job at making it safe to stay at. The grounds are nice and the plus was they welcome furry friends. It was very quiet.
Disliked: Out dated. The room was small, and the AC unit was very loud.

Liked: A peaceful location by the riverside, where one could see salmon jumping out of the water.

Campbell River lodge

Liked: View, service and helpful staff, Campbell river lodge has great potential but needs to have money and effort put into it to acheive that potential.
Disliked: Broken showerhead holder, very very squeeky bed, noisy argueing people in neighboring room, whole lodge has a run down feeling about it, no bbq brush that works and bbq dirty. Staff tries very hard to maintain landscape but lodge requires a commercial company to clean it up completely and then staff maintenance may resume.

Nice rooms with great view

Liked: Nice view, BBQ area and everything you need in the room. We had changed our plans and arrived late, after official check- in and it was all arranged for us, no hassle - thanks!
Disliked: I didn't like the pillows but that's my personal taste
