The cooked breakfast was good and the variety of cereals, pastries, fruit, etc. The staff were so friendly, really nice. Rooms were very dated and small. Pillows were small and bed not too comfortable. Bathroom had no extractor or it just didnt work. The toilet seat moved. The TV signal wasn't great. You could hear the next rooms conversation. The photos of the hotel looked better than the actual room, so I felt that was deceiving. The hairdryer stopped working/broke after 30 seconds of use. The initial room we were in smelled of smoke. We were quickly moved though, which was good. The room we were moved to was clean.

Attentive staff and great location

Liked: Location and staff are brilliant and faultless. Can arrive early and pop into reception to register your vehicle for parking. We used to stay at a very close alternative, but this being so affordable enables us to visit lovely Liverpool even more frequently now.
Disliked: Other guests could be a little noisy, but not the fault of the hotel

Liked: Location was good, staff were lovely and it had onsite parking
Disliked: It wasn’t clean, it was very outdated, the heating was a dodgy looking heater on the wall, the walls were that thin we could hear snoring in the next room, beds were not comfortable and made us itch, bathroom was also not clean, brown marks on the walls and in the bath
