Disliked: We booked 3 nights only to find they closed the restaurant for two of the nights with no advanced notice. There were no alternative restaurants within easy walking distance.

Great place !!!

Liked: The location is perfect, very close to a city connecting roads, 400m to the nearest metro-station, 4 stops to the center, and at the same time it's a place somehow separated from the urban environment. You might feel like you're camping... Pretty good rooms with comfortable beds, private bathrooms, good heating, TV and everything you need for a short or longer stay. Large, safe and free of charge parking in the property. A nice restaurant is open there at the entrance. Very friendly and helpful staff, who will give you tips for exploring the city. And the owner speaks English. Overall, I highly recommend it. Will go there again next time!Thank you, Campanile Lille Sud!

Just adequate but expensive when...

Liked: Location next to main motorway was perfect. Rooms as expected for a Campanile
Disliked: The car park area was badly maintained as was the bannisters on the stairways - basically run down. They also charged for car parking which I have never had at a Campanile.

Perfect small hotel near Lille....

Liked: Amazing location, very near a metro station. The metro runs every few moments and one can be in Lille centre within 15-20 minutes (walk to the metro station + metro ride). Plenty of parking spots by the hotel for a relatively cheap price.
Disliked: Everything was good. However, they could add some eggs to the breakfast menu
