Satisfactory standard Lodge for an...

Liked: Location excellent and convenient for motorway access. Staff were helpful and friendly. Rooms were on the small size but adequate for a motorway lodge style hotel. The internal door between the room and the corridor are a really good addition to lower noise levels. Parking was sufficient and with good cctv coverage for security. Vending machine in lobby area is a good idea as food & beverage service is limited.Breakfast was of a satisfactory standard with good service.
Disliked: Rooms generally in need a refurb. looking tired.Need new mattresses on the beds.The towels provided were too small.No plug sockets near the bed and only two wall sockets which were positioned awkwardly.

Disliked: Old and dilapidated. Only changed hands the week we arrived. Bedding in original room was, frankly, disgusting - see photos. Duty staff sorted us out another room with clean bedding and mattresses. Staff were all excellent. Food was really very good. Cooked breakfast very tasty. Bar good.Bearing in mind we only paid £121 for 3 nights ….

Disliked: Beds were disaster all broken base saw shored up wood and when we complain about it .. told what do you want for the price rooms !! When sayed complain to booking .com offered us free breakfast. Which we declind ... the next morning we were Acused smoking in room fire alarm issues...Then on last day changed ower rooms sayed the beds are better
