The very old beds let...

Liked: Very clean and fairly quiet. Had everything you need for a short stay. Very friendly, accommodating staff.
Disliked: The bed was incredibly uncomfortable with springs sticking up. Made it difficult to sleep and was unsettling to think how old/unhygienic it was.

Liked: We had a great excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Place is clean, friendly and comfortable
Disliked: It's a budget hotel, but despite this it's well maintained and very friendly staff

Liked: Good location close to the train station, bed was comfy, good size bathroom.
Disliked: Room was a bit draughty, not much comfort in the reception, restaurant. Seems to be directly underneath the flight path for Liverpool airport as planes go overhead fairly frequently.
