Avoid if at all possible

Disliked: I don't normally write reviews but felt I should warn others. I've stayed in many Campaniles over the last few years but never again will I stay at this one.Staff were extremely unhelpful. I'd made a couple of requests, ground floor and together. The rooms we were first allocated were not on the ground floor and not even on the same floor. They did change this and put both rooms on the very top floor, but still not together.The rooms were dirty, cobwebs everywhere, 1 room had a massive greasy stain on the floor, hair in the bathroom the other had a hole in the wall in the bathroom. We hung "Do not disturb" signs on both our rooms when we headed out, only to return to find the signs neatly hanging back inside our rooms on the hooks we'd taken them off that morning, and staff had obviously been in the rooms.We asked about dinner, due to start in 15mins, only to be told they didn't know what was gonna be on as they "kinda don't have a real chef at the moment". We just ordered in, at least we knew what we were getting doing that.

Disliked: This stay was a horrible adventure and I don’t wish anyone to experience the same.We did a late check-in, which we had combined via phone with the receptionist as we were at a wedding. Since there is as 24/7 receptionist this was possible. We arrived there around nearly 2 am. The receptionist was under alcohol or drugs and could not understand us properly. It took us more than 1 hour to get to our hotel room, as the receptionist mixed up our rooms keys with other people’s keys, then had not activated the keys and we were running around from our room to the reception several times before we could figure out what the problem was. This is not professional at all, it requires a clear mind to do this job which was not the case for this receptionist at all. What scared us the most was his passive aggressive behavior..Not to recommend at all
