Disliked: Because of a „problem in the system“ our rooms got canceled and we got different rooms instead. While trying to talk to the receptionist and ask them about the problem and why they didn‘t contact me via mail or call me on the phone to inform me properly and early in advance, they got mad at me.Also no fridge in the room.

Liked: The metro station is very close, taking you straight to the city center, and the large, beautiful park next to the hotel—with its lake and several remarkable spots—adds a peaceful vibe. Rooms are cleaned daily, breakfast is great and reasonably priced for Amsterdam. I enjoyed the cozy common area with its art and architecture books, free table football, and the friendly, relaxed staff.

Disliked: We booked a Standard room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed as we are a family of 3. However, when we reached hotel, the reception lady told that the room that we booked is no longer available and we were given a room with only 1 double bed. Due to this it was very uncomfortable for us to sleep during the night. We have not got any refund as well even though we had got smaller room size. The room size was too small as well. Compare to the charges, the rooms are not great.

Liked: Like the staff and the bar downstairs was nice. Also my partner forgot his charger and really nicely the reception staff let him borrow one.
Disliked: Our room had a wet patch on the floor next to the bed that if you step on it it would get wetter so you needed to be careful.One of the pillow cases was really stained.
