Book at your peril .........

Liked: There was only 1 thing that was great about the hotel:1) the location.
Disliked: 1) Absolutely NO security measures in place at the hotel: any member of the public can walk round and peer into rooms. The hotel rooms were like something from a Pontins Holiday Camp in the 1970s.2) There were some damp issues. Since visiting the hotel, my elderly mother has been diagnosed with Pneumonia.3) The front doors were very difficult to open.4) The rooms were extremely shabby and could all do with a lick of paint and some serious TLC.5) I was charged £15 per night to have my little dog stay in the room but am unsure why because the rooms were dirty to begin with and the carpets were already stained all over the place.6) There were signs in the rooms inviting guests to "breakfast", but there was no breakfast, apart from a bacon or sausage bap (which was extra) and even the male receptionist said "but I wouldn't bother".7) The televisions were cracked and did not work.8) No USB ports in the rooms.9) Not enough power sockets, considering most people bring their phones, vapes, computers etc.Overall, a very cheap but very shabby hotel. If you don't mind sharing the area with some very unsavoury characters, then book away, but we won't be going there again.
