Campanile Hotel Glasgow SECC Hydro

Great room. Just what we needed.

Disliked: Kitchen closed too early.

We went to the restaurant for a meal and was told we had to book - short of staff.

Liked: It was near the concert.
Disliked: We could not get the heating to work.

Hotel was great location for both our evening venue and the city centre. Rooms were clean; beds were comfy; had everything you needed but could do with a bit of an upgrade. End of the day it was just a place to sleep, good value for money, would use again.

Liked: Location.
Disliked: Dated.

Hotel welcoming; staff friendly; hotel warm and clean. Breakfast a little cold but adequate.

Liked: Proximity to venue.
Disliked: None.

I booked this hotel as a 70th birthday present for my parents and to be honest I am mortified at the experience they had. They arrived yesterday for a 2pm book in and had to queue to put their names down to say they were there, then wait another hour to get booked into their room. I understand you can be busy, but pensioners having to wait that long is a disgrace. Then the restaurant was closed and nowhere nearby for dinner, so they ended up in McDonalds. I booked them breakfast this morning too and they said the food was disgusting. I thought booking them in here, paying a bit extra for a half decent hotel was a good idea, but it wasted the whole experience for them!

Disliked: Everything else.

We enjoyed our brief stay at the Campanile hotel.

Great location. Good price. Free parking. Great breakfast choice.

Would stay again. Brilliant as so close to the Hydro. Room was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was extra but very good.

It was fantastic - clean, warm and very comfortable. I would recommend anyone to stay there - I loved it.
