Stunning hotel in a stunning...

Liked: Quite simply stunning! The hotel was a wonderful blend of old and modern with the new extensions blending seamlessly with the old internally and complementing each other externally. Our room was stunning, beautifully appointed and decorated and so comfortable. The location of the hotel on the shores of the loch gave this property additional charm especially at sunset! Stunning views and a great relaxing atmosphere. The pool, hot tub and gym were outstanding - certainly one of the biggest we've visited in a hotel. The breakfast was an experience worthy of the stay alone! Such a selection of cooked items and continental style offerings, beautifully cooked and presented. The table of pastries and breads was quite magnificent. The staff were wonderful, very attentive in a positive way and clearly enjoy working in such a special place.

Liked: great hotel at a great location. very efficient and very helpful staff.
Disliked: Dining at the hotel site was great in the Cameron Grill and La Vista. Dining options at the Tavern are a bit limited in choice.

Disliked: My room had no soap, now shampoo and no shower gel, I had asked three separate times and it took over an hour to put right.

Disliked: I left something in the room which I realized after check-out. I returned and asked to be let in to the room. When I entered, 2 housekeepers had opened what I left and were examining the pieces which were spread out on the bed. I would think that policy would be that if items are left by a guest they are turned into front desk or the manager, without being rifled through. Inadvertently because everything was not together in the bag it was left in, a purchase was left thwere which I did not realize until I returned to the states.
