I wouldn't stay there again

Liked: No road noise, which was good for a city motel
Disliked: It was in desperate need of a re paint, paint was peeling off the walls. The bathroom the worst. No extraction fan, so it was bathroom door left open or windows open to freeze you. The bed had a very thin cover on it , that didn't fit the mattress ,much like the sheet you end up on exposed mattress. This motel needs a big make over.

Disappointing

Liked: The room was nice and warm.
Disliked: There was black hairs on the shower walls,dust on the skirting boards and the beds wernt that comfortable.

Could use some updating but...

Liked: old style doors and windows, high ceiling beams all looked great, good room layout perfect for two families with kids. very warm with full length curtains and heat pump. lots of space. old style furniture.
Disliked: While I understand that its supposed be an old look some things were way past expiry. The uncomfortable living room sofa has a wooden plank underneath the cushions, while the armchair didn't, causing you to sink (we had a few laughs about it)The Bathroom upstairs was so dated. The shower had the door removed and went completely dead if the downstairs bathroom turned on theirs. It doesn't appear to be very clean with the condition of the shower. However, its attempted to be well maintained. All this said it was comfortable enough for a one-night city stay to get some sleep.
