Liked: We had a very comfortable room with a four poster bed overlooking the sea & bridge . The bar area was very nice with very friendly staff

Disappointed

Liked: Parking, QS Bed, SENSATIONAL VIEW, able to open windows for breeze, sundowners on the back landing overlooking that view, pigeon nesting on our balcony - chicks born while we were there, Walking distance to township.
Disliked: Tacky decor and artwork, over balance of things/services for sale, restaurants have to be pre booked way ahead, our 'ensuite bathroom' was literally a caravan shower & toilet cubicle dropped in the room, balcony filthy with cigarette buts, cobwebs and bird poop, maze all grown over, Knights of the Round Table festooned with tacky ornaments - really not how the property was presented on Bookings.com. We were so excited about staying here but it was a disappointment.

Superb

Liked: The Apartment No.2 was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with everything that you needed.with exceptional sea views.It was walking distance to the small village and cliff top sites.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Beautiful location and nice cosy bar
Disliked: The bathroom in my room was so small, almost impossible to shower without everything in the tiny space getting wet and spilling out into the main room. Would be nice if there were biscuits in the room.

Better than expected

Liked: They gave us an upgrade from small room to suite for extra £20 per night.
Disliked: Everything

Great place with a spectacular...

Liked: Location, location, location. Quirky, individualistic and interesting hotel. Views are spectacular. Staff helpful and friendly. Short walk into town.
Disliked: Meal options a bit limited. Pushing the local artwork a little too hard. Large photo of orange American president in lobby off-putting.

Liked: Location and room was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.
Disliked: The art work around the property was not fitting to the building in fact if you looked at the artwork for too long it would give one a migraine headache. No reference to the local area.
