Loved our 1-night stay with...

Liked: We had an excellent breakfast at the hotel, included in the price of the room. There was a choice between continental, full English and dishes likes pancakes with maple syrup. We stayed in room 17, a deluxe (large) family room. The beds were very comfortable. A spacious and clean shower with perfect water pressure. Plenty of soft towels. Shampoo and shower gel were provided. The kids liked the huge tv. Besides coffee (Nespresso machine!) and tea facilities there were also 3 bottles of mineral water and glasses in the room, was a nice touch. Very friendly staff.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: Reasonable breakfast but prefer the hotel nearby. If you enjoy a pub type atmosphere this is ok
Disliked: Small room, small double bed for 2,loose spring in bed would not go there again, poor breakfast

Liked: Very quiet room. Powerful shower. The fruit salad was excellent. Plenty of choice for cooked breakfast
Disliked: The room was rather dark. It was generally well equipped but there was no easy chair nor safe

Liked: We stayed 2 nights Friday & Saturday, we had a drink & food from Friday afternoon into the evening - sitting outside, food was lovely & it was a very relaxed atmosphere, so nice. Girls serving food were very helpful & pleasant. Breakfast was very good & young girl serving again very pleasant.Room was clean (see below) shower very nice, lovely clean towels & good amount too. Good facilities in the room too.
Disliked: Room was clean apart from cobwebs under the bed, not that I usually look but I dropped my pen & there was quite a bit of dust !! In the bathroom there was a bit of the "Formica" underneath the sink coming away & also by the toilet there's rust down the side on the panel but not to be disgusting it looks like something else ! Lady ( possibly owner/ management with husband ) that greeted us when we arrived was pleasant & polite but very matter of fact. This is not so much of a criticism but would be nice to have a warm smile though ! Same lady served us our drinks at the bar again very pleasant but a warm smile & little bit of friendly chat would've been welcoming. Same as the man, who may have been lady's husband/ management ? He was the same at breakfast, again very pleasant but a little bit of friendly chat is more welcoming. When you hand in the room key, just a thank you, no have a nice day/day/trip/journey.....would've made the stay that little bit more friendly as if you're wanted ! Think both need to take a leaf out of their staff/ girls as they were lovely & friendly which definitely makes the stay all the more pleasant.
