All's well that ends well.

Liked: Room is very clean and comfortable.
Disliked: The business changed hands in February. They had no booking for us because of this.Please explain??Luckily they had one family room left which we obviously took.

Wouldn't stay again

Liked: Room was comfortable, wifi worked well
Disliked: We had a shower that was scalding hot and flooded every time you used it . We told the bar staff to be told "everything is breaking here but will pass it on " . Nothing was done or even looked at. We were left with water in the kettle, only 3 quarters of a toilet roll so that we had to pick up our own. We left a sign on door saying please make up room and no one came to do it. We were given a key to get in and out of the hotel but barely saw any staff. When we ventured in for a drink they were all sat in the back room having a girly chat and we were made to feel like we were interrupting them and putting them out. On the Sunday we were going to go for a drink about 6pm and it looked all shut up so we stayed in our room. It was still comfortable and value for money considering it's a small town and not the nicest area but would book elsewhere if we come back. It's worth staying a little farther out. General cleaning should be looked at it seems surface cleaned and cobwebs in the room and extreme dust on the bed is a simple thing that shouldn't be overlooked especially when it can make asthma sufferers ill. Such a shame considering how nice it looked from the pictures . Bedding not sure if it was clean or dirty dumped in the hallway and rubbish left outside rooms.

Disliked: Wasn’t clean when arrived but complain and was put right need unit in bathroom to put toiletries on plus hangers in wardrobe plus music was exceptionally loud with rave going on under bedroom

Pleasant

Disliked: The appalling noise coming from the bar opposite till 1.30 in the morning and the town clock striking every hour through the night

Disliked: We didn't have any towels or spare toilet roll in the room.

We do not recommend this...

Liked: There was nothing positive.
Disliked: We could only pay cash. No cleaning in 3 days stay. No reception, no telephone numbers. Room was hardly cleaned when we arrived. Shower flooded, as the drain was probably clogged. Spiderwebs on the ceiling and lamps. Very smelly as well...
