Liked: toilet was too low, Bed was too soft. Needed handels at toilet and shower
Disliked: bed, handels toilet and shower. Could use KIrick coffee.

A lovely hotel with tons...

Liked: The hotel has so much character, the room was lovely with a fireplace that made it extra cosy, live music in the welcoming lounge in the evening, a heated pool, pretty gardens, beautiful location with a gorgeous walk through the woods to the picturesque town with interesting shops.
Disliked: I gave an 8 instead of a 10 because I booked a forest view room and although we could see the trees beyond, our immediate view was of a huge piece of heavy machinery and not the forest which was a shame because the forest location really is beautiful.

Absolutely fantastic

Liked: It's such a beautiful lodge with everything so well maintained. The restaurant, the lounge with live music, hot pool, beautiful gardens, massive rooms, and breakfast. We enjoyed everything! Staff is so friendly , easy checking, free parking and exceptionally clean.
Disliked: There was nothing to complain about. Everything was fantastic.

Liked: I love the grounds of the hotel. The gardens everywhere were very pretty and there were lots of paths to go on walks. I also liked the fireplace when it got cold. The breakfast was also a huge bonus! I would recommend getting there early because it does get crowded.
Disliked: When I walked into the room it didn't look like the picture on booking.com. it said I was supposed to have a superior Queen and there were tons of places where paint was coming off of the walls and it just gave me a Feeling that I was in a room that wasn't cared for or taken care of. When I asked the office about my room they said it came in as just a regular double Queen room. I'm not sure what the title Superior or Deluxe means and how they differentiate but I can tell you that my room did not have an air conditioner and sometimes it does get warm and you only have a little window to open. They did bring me a fan but the room just felt crampedOverall the staff was friendly however on my birthday I went into the lounge to order a drink and I have never been treated so rudely in my life by the bartender.. I asked him if I could get it to go cup because that's what the front desk said I could do if I wanted to take my drink outside and his response was well I don't want to get in trouble and I don't know who told you that but you can't just go anywhere with the drink and then walked off and helped someone else. When he came back I said Is this where I order my drink and he said yes and I gave him my drink order and he got it wrong. He was so rude that I felt so uncomfortable going back to make it right. I know he was busy but that is no excuse to treat people like you are better than them and like don't matter.
