Stylish Stays Just Steps from Philly’s Music Scene

Modern, sleek, and perched in the heart of Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Row, the Cambria Hotel Philadelphia Downtown Center City delivers urban style with a dash of luxury. Just minutes from major music venues and walkable to some of the city’s best attractions, this hotel offers the perfect mix of convenience and comfort. With free WiFi, a rooftop bar and restaurant, and rooms that include a mini-fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker, it's a solid base for any music-filled adventure.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is a major win here—you're within walking distance of Philly’s top venues, so no need to stress about post-show transport. Plus, with a 24-hour front desk, flexible late check-in at 4:00 PM, and a rooftop bar that keeps the energy going, it's easy to keep the night alive. Soundproof rooms offer a quiet retreat when you’re ready to crash, and the fitness center is a bonus for early risers needing to recharge.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends looking for a stylish launchpad near the action
- Solo travelers catching a bucket-list show and wanting a safe, central base
- Couples turning a concert into a weekend getaway
- Fans needing a quiet spot to recover after a high-energy night
- Budget-conscious music lovers who still want upscale amenities

Food and Drink Options

The rooftop restaurant and bar is a favorite for pre-show drinks or a celebratory nightcap. While late-night dining is available upstairs, rooms also come stocked with a microwave and mini-fridge for snacks on your schedule. No worries if you sleep in—breakfast is offered, and there are plenty of walkable dining spots nearby, perfect for grabbing a bite before or after the show.

Nightlife Options

Music doesn’t have to end when the concert does. The rooftop bar often hosts live music and boasts city views that make for a memorable night. If you're looking to explore, you’re steps from Broad Street’s vibrant nightlife, including bars, lounges, and live venues that keep the energy going late.

What People Say

Guests love the central location and say the hotel is “perfect for walking to shows” and “close to everything downtown.” The rooftop bar earns high praise for ambiance, while the rooms are described as “modern, clean, and quiet.” Many highlight the friendly staff and the ease of checking in late after a concert.

Areas for Improvement

The elevators can be a bit slow during peak times, especially after an event. And while the rooftop bar is a hit, it can get crowded—arrive early if you want a prime seat. Parking isn’t on-site, so plan ahead if you're driving in.

The Bottom Line

With its unbeatable location, cool rooftop vibes, and concert-friendly amenities, Cambria Hotel Philadelphia Downtown Center City is a top pick for music fans hitting the Philly scene.

Bed was comfy and location...

Liked: The location
Disliked: Drinks in the bar were too expensive. Tonic was flat and the limes were not fresh. They were brown and old.Glad I didn’t rent a car, as parking was $66 a day. Way too expensive and not worth it.

Convenient, comfortable, clean room.

Liked: Clean and spacious room for a family of 4 (we got a room with 2 queen beds). Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels. Nice lobby area. In a convenient area right by the Walnut/Locust train station on the orange line. Close to Green Eggs Cafe which had amazing french toast options.
Disliked: Room could have used more lighting/light fixtures.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Megan Sun, 20 April 2025

Disappointing

Liked: Good location, beds comfortable
Disliked: The room was on Broad St and was incredibly loud. The guests in the room next to us partied and had loud music which kept us from sleeping. The room was incredibly expensive - over $400AUD for one night. For this amount I expected a lot more. The sink in the bathroom was cracked, mould in the shower, no ability to make a cup of tea, we couldn’t use the rooftop bar as it was 21+ licensed (we are a family), housekeeping knocked on the door in the morning (even though we only were staying one night) and had no English. I felt awful but had to use google translate as I couldn’t work out what she needed when we were checking out shortly. She clearly hadn’t been told which rooms were checking out. Overall I wouldn’t stay here again. Over priced, poor quality and they let people make lots of noise all night.
