We stayed for 3 nights...
Liked: We stayed for 3 nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and nicely decorated.Parking was included.
Disliked: a major downside is that the windows cannot be opened, so there’s no way to get fresh air into the room. There is a mobile air conditioner, but it’s quite noisy, even on the lowest setting. The windows are very thin, so you can hear a lot of noise from the street, and the walls are also quite thin – at night, we could clearly hear people coming and going in the neighboring rooms.

Awful!!!
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: My room was filthy. When I asked the front desk for cleaning wipes and tried to show pictures of the room she wouldn’t even discuss it with me or look at the pictures I had taken. I was very disappointed that the pool closed at 6. I ended up checking out early. My stay was suppose to be until the 23rd.

Disappointing
Liked: The onsite food options were good. Rooms were fairly clean.
Disliked: The towel rack under our sink was broken when we got there. Housekeeping only came when we requested, which I’m not accustomed to. It was evident that they weren’t cleaning other rooms at all. I heard multiple upset guests speak to management about this. Overall, it was an okay hotel. Probably won’t stay here again.

Liked: The locationThe employees at the reception, maintenance, and housekeeping, EXCEPT the new supervisor's boss or manager... who leaves a new supervisor on the job in the middle of summer without proper training?
Disliked: The new supervisor!We would have rated Cambria with 3 stars only because of this situation, but the rest of the staff was so helpful and nice that it wouldn't be fair.We arrived on a Tuesday, and because of the housekeeping policies, we were told we wouldn't get our room cleaned until the third day, which was fine. The third day came, and we even double-checked the night before... but nothing, we did not get our room cleaned on Friday. When we called reception, they seemed shocked as it was written in the system. Housekeeping for our room was indeed properly booked for that day, but it was after 9 pm when we got back. They apologized, and they immediately sent someone to get our garbage. They made sure once again that our room would be booked to get properly cleaned the next day, on Saturday. Saturday came... nothing once again, no housekeeping. The lady at the reception was shocked as it was clearly written in the system. It was really late, we were tired, but they still offered to send someone immediately to clean the room. A very nice man from maintenance did a great job cleaning while we waited at the balcony. About 30 minutes later, the supervisor called, apologizing, mentioning that "he didn't know," that nobody had told him. (?) We understand that it takes a learning curve to be able to handle a new position, being even more challenging in the middle of summertime vacation when the hotel is crowded, but please, offer the proper training to all new staff before leaving them handle the operations of such a great place like Cambria on their own.

Affordable stay, hot showers, parking...
Liked: Hot shower and comfortable bed.
Disliked: Parking off property and being told that your rental will be towed if not moved by 9am on a Saturday. This information was not provided to me during time of check-in. Old pastries displaying for guests to purchase.
