Literal worst hotel experience I’ve...

Liked: The room had a bed, a roof, and four walls
Disliked: I arrived at this airport hotel at 3am on the morning of 4/10, and it was all downhill from there. First, the reception lady tells us that she accidentally checked someone else in under our names/room, resulting in a 30 minute wait before my wife and I could finally enter our room. I asked for late check out, but this woman (who refused to give me her name, go figure) tells me she not only couldn’t guarantee late check out because supposedly only the morning staff had that authority for some reason (inconvenient but whatever). I then asked her if she could at least leave a note for the morning staff saying that we requested late check out if it were available, but for some bizarre reason that I can only assume boils down to either simple laziness or stupidity she wasn’t even willing to leave a note. This is now 345am at an AIRPORT HOTEL, mind you, and the place had fewer than 20 guests — I know this because this dumbass lady showed me all the guest cards (including their private personal information) at one point. Finally we get into our room and go to sleep… and sure enough, the anonymous reception lady CALLS OUR EFFING ROOM and wakes us up! I call back to ask WTF that was about, and she hangs up on me. I go back to sleep, and—since she really didn’t leave a note for the morning staff—my exhausted and sleep-deprived pregnant wife and I are woken up 4 hours later (like 830am) by housekeeping!!! Literally the worst hotel experience I’ve had in recent memory. That lady and the people who manage this place (if there are any) should be fired and banned from the hospitality industry for life
