Subpar
Liked: Good location
Disliked: I’ve been coming to this same Cambria for many years & it is truly showing its age -The carpets in the hallways were lifting at the seems in many locations. They no longer have vending machines on the floors, the soda selection in the “deli” was minimal, the ice machines were out of order on the 2nd & 3rd floors, I found one on the main floor that worked. The laundry room on my floor was “Out of order”. My hallway, 3rd floor, smelled like dirty socks & the 2nd floors hallway reeked terribly of marijuana, the hallways were hot with no airflow to move the bad smells out. The bar was closed both nights I was there. I know they haven’t had continental breakfast for years, which is horrible for the prices of the rooms, but I didn’t even see any breakfast set up in the buffet area either morning. - Again, this place has really gone down hill over the years. Sadly.

Very good
Liked: Staff was excellent. Condition and furnishings are mediocre of the hotel. Comfortable stay but 1st room A/C was bad, got switched and was much better. Its a decent and safe hotel just don't expect anything too much. The staff was very nice and outgoing.

Disliked: Filthy! I would never recommend anyone to stay here. Carpets unclean, dusty and HUGE cobwebs EVERYWHERE! Even saw a spider scamper across the desk

First time to Ohio!
Liked: Very clean and great location! The manager was great when it came to a room situation. She addressed it accordingly and took some off our bill for the inconvenience. We will definitely be back if we come back to Sonic Temple! This was our first time to Ohio, thank you to this hotel for making it a comfortable home away from home.
Disliked: We had a dirty room but it was made right thanks to the management. The pool had zero towels and the hot tub jets were broken.

Disliked: Hi, we just stayed at the Cambria Polaris and we are far from pleased. We have stayed with you guys before and it was a wonderful experience. Few things to note on this trip. Minor issues were the fact there was only one elevator working, which wasn’t a big deal. The hot tub was hot, but the jets control didn’t work at all. Our room wasn’t properly cleaned. There was change on the floor from the previous occupants in the living room area and the toilet paper was never changed out from the previous occupants. MAJOR issue to address is the fact my wife and I were in our room in just towels and heard our card scanner go off, we both looked over, then a man walked into our room as I was standing there. He said sorry he was there for maintenance and I abruptly informed him maintenance was not requested. For starters if maintenance was to be sent to our room for any reason we should have been called and notified. Secondly, he never knocked or announced himself. He just used a card and walked into our room. I called the front desk asking what the hell was going on. She informed me there was some sort of mixup with maintenance and housekeeping and they were very sorry this happened. I was not content with that answer because one that did nothing to make us feel better about staying in that room that he now knows is occupied by two young women. We were not offered to switch rooms or anything actually. Just said sorry again and said they’d let the manager know. On top of us feeling uncomfortable for the rest of the night we didn’t even want to go back to the pool area knowing someone was just accessing our room without consent and we felt uneasy all night. Very disappointed in the manor of which this was handled.
