The Spotlight on Cambria Hotel College Park

Stylish, Convenient Stay Just Outside the DC Buzz

Modern and polished, the Cambria Hotel College Park offers a sleek, comfortable stay just a short ride from Washington D.C.'s top music venues. Located on Baltimore Avenue, it's a great choice for concert-goers looking for a mix of accessibility and quiet retreat. With clean, contemporary rooms, free WiFi, and a 24-hour front desk, it’s set up for a smooth, no-stress stay.

Each room includes a microwave, coffee machine, flat-screen TV, and cozy workspace—everything you need whether you’re winding down post-show or getting ready for a night out.

Why Concert-goers love it

Cambria Hotel College Park is ideal if you're catching a show at nearby venues in College Park or hopping into DC. With late check-out (12:00 PM), you can sleep in after a long night of music. The hotel strikes a nice balance: close enough to the action without the late-night noise of downtown. Rideshares and public transit options are readily available, and the 24-hour front desk makes late arrivals a breeze.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends heading to a college-town concert
  • Solo travelers checking off a bucket-list tour
  • Couples making a weekend out of it
  • Fans who want a peaceful place to recover post-show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who don’t want to sacrifice style

Food and Drink Options

The hotel offers practical choices for late-night cravings, including in-room microwaves and nearby walkable eateries. While there's no on-site restaurant, you'll find plenty of local spots within a short stroll. Coffee lovers will appreciate the in-room machines, and the area offers a good mix of breakfast joints for a mid-morning brunch after a late night.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself doesn't host live music or a bar, you're minutes from College Park’s fun bar scene and just a short drive or ride into Washington D.C. for more nightlife action. It's a smart base if you want to enjoy the show, grab a drink nearby, then retreat somewhere quiet.

What People Say

Guests love the clean, spacious rooms and modern design. Many highlight the friendly staff, easy parking, and the convenience of being close—but not too close—to the noise of DC. The WiFi gets good marks, and travelers appreciate the thoughtful in-room amenities like the microwave and coffee maker.

Areas for Improvement

The lack of an on-site restaurant or bar can be a downside if you're hoping to hang out at the hotel post-concert. Some guests also mention that the area gets quiet at night, which is great for sleep—but not ideal if you’re looking to party late.

The Bottom Line

Cambria Hotel College Park is a smart, stylish pick for concert-goers who want access to the shows without sacrificing comfort or quiet.

Very good

Liked: The staff was incredibly helpful. I accidentally left some items in the fridge after checking out, and the cleaning crew not only retrieved the glass container and lid I forgot, but also emptied and washed them for me. I also appreciated the parking — it's in an indoor garage with swipe card access, which made me feel safe leaving my car there. The electric blind out curtain really help blocking the light, i had a good sleep.
Disliked: My room was near the elevator, so I could hear people chatting while they waited. The noise continued until around 11 p.m. A sign near the elevator reminding guests of quiet hours might help, or perhaps improving the soundproofing of the room doors. Also, the door shuts loudly if not closed gently, which adds to the noise.
