Liked: I like the old style look and the staff was friendly not very knowledgeable but super nice.
Disliked: When we booked the room it didn't say we had to share bathrooms with anyone so I end up upgrading to another room with a bathroom in it the person at the desk told me one price and charged me a way higher price and also gratuity or tips here or not optional they force you to tip they put it in the bill which I did not like.

Altogether delightful: we would stay again, should the opportunity arise.
Liked: Check-in was easy and welcoming. The Atrium was a delightful place to spread out and work on the computer. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The shared bath facilities were clean and spacious. The central location was ideal, close to bus line, groceries, small specialty shops, and a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs. The nearby Lacamas Park, 2 miles from the hotel, offered lakeside trails, with varying difficulty levels from accessible to challenging.
Disliked: We enjoyed almost everything, but visitors should know that this is a 115-year-old hotel with tiny rooms, steep, narrow stairs, and no elevator. We enjoyed the ambiance and old-world feel, but we did notice some other guests had a bit of difficulty with the stairs. The third floor, with shared bath facilities, required some accommodation to scheduling visits to the facilities. We didn't have issues with that, but there were "waiting lines" at peak times...
