Superb

Liked: I had a really good rest at this hotel. Basic clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff in the very city center and somehow still quite quiet at night. Tiny bathroom but with a working shower and lovely hot water. Kettle and coffee and tea in the room. For super reasonable price! Pub downstairs - but closes at 11pm or so. Highly recommended!
Disliked: Windows overlook the street so I worried a bit that it would be noisy at night but... it wasn't. Maybe I was lucky (4 nights, early June).

Good hotel great staff and...

Liked: The room size was great. The availability of a stair lift was most beneficial. The restaurant attached served outstanding indian cuisine
Disliked: The walls were thin. The decor needs updating. The amount of noise late at night is a little problematic if you're a light sleeper

Disliked: From viewing the photos online it looked like if has had a recent revamp. Well it had but to a very low standard. We were at the very top of the hotel and had to concur 5 flights of stairs every time we came in or out. The floor in our room was extremely wonky and we were worried about how structurally sound it was.The level of cleanliness was very poor, especially in the communal areas.We requested one double and two single beds when booked which was agreed. When we arrived we just had two double beds. I tried to speak to someone but no one was to be found. My daughters ended up having to share a bed which was an awful experience for everyone.On our last night the manager decided to hold karaoke. This was awfully loud. We were situated at the front of the building where the bar was and the main door was always open. It was hot in our room so our window was open. We heard everything very loudly going on until the early hours 1/2 am. The smoking area was out on the street at the front and no effort was made to keep the noise down of anyone out there. This lead to us only getting a few hours sleep before a very long 6 hour journey home the next day.You could tell the new manager was trying to bring up the hotel but it seems he's fighting a losing battle.

Liked: Stay here everytime we come blackpool! The staff are amazing! We got a nice spacious room, slippers, water bottles and a little mini fridge! The location is brilliant! Karaoke and dj entertainment was amazing! Love love love it here! Had such a laugh with Dee, lyne and dave the staff are honestly a vibe! Wish we could of stayed longer! We will be back very soon! Thanks for having us. Xx
