Nice hotel in a central...
Liked: Firstly the lovely cheerful man on reception who explained restaurant etc to us. Room was a good size and had all we needed. Location was great only about 5 minute walk to the tower shops bars and restaurants. Shopping centre across the road.Wishing you well for the future and we will be back soon.
Disliked: Didn't dislike anything. Think people are just quick to moan. Can't expect the Hilton for the price you paid. If you don't like anything mention it to the manager !!!

Guest house paradeso
Liked: Friendly staff, nice breakfast
Disliked: Booked to stay for 3 nights with my kids through booking.com as the hotel was listed as very good through reviews and the pictures looked nice. We only stayed for 2 nights. The room we stayed in was on the top floor and what a flog everytime up and down all the stairs. We stayed in room 301. I would not recommend anyone else to stay in there. The room had recently been (refurbished) to a poor standard in my opinion. The room had a weird smell, mattresses completely warn out with lumpy springs. No shower mat/hand towel. Leak in the bathroom ceiling, keys on piece of plastic with a sticker on it with the room number! Bed base broken, terrible view of a derelict building out of the rear window. Decoration attemt terrible, Perhaps we just got unlucky with staying in this room as there are lots of good reviews on here and booking.com. would never return suppose you get what you pay for

Best avoided
Liked: Location and associated Indian restaurant. Everything else was dire.
Disliked: Everything else. Cutlery and glasses at breakfast were filthy, rooms were extremely basic (no hairdryer or toiletries, no pictures on walls, clock, mini fridge, teaspoons, brown sugar, sanitary hygiene disposal bags).Bathroom mirror light did not work, no doors on wardrobe, hotchpotch of mismatched broken hangers, no finials on curtain rail which was completely brown with rust and very unstable, toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, towel ring hanging off the wall, all sockets bar one hanging off the wall. Mattress you could feel every spring it was that worn and old, plus it was filthy with stains. Bar open all night and loud music until very late. Bedroom was very cold and heating could not be turned on. No choice at breakfast - a full English was just plonked down in front of you (no consultation about allergies, vegetarian or vegan options or anything). All in all, just a terrible experience - and I've stayed in some dumps in Blackpool over the years! The icing on the cake was having to put down a £20 cash deposit in case I 'misbehaved' and having to stand there for 10 minutes whilst someone checked my room upon checkout - even if I tried, I'm not sure what I could have spoilt in there!!!
