Could not stay because of...

Disliked: Our credit card was charged months in advance although the reservation stated that the the payment will occur on site. Then the hotel cancelled our reservation the day before because of a leak of water. We received no assistance in finding a new hotel but fortunately it was not too difficult.However we have not received our refund so far (2 months) although we have repeatedly contacted the hotel and customer service. We wish raising this issue to the awareness of the other customers would speed up the process.

Do not stay here

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Everything was horrible. Do not stay here. - The area has loads of homeless - The reception smelled of urine - Elevator is dangerous and covered in blood - The doors on the rooms looked like they could be easily opened - The blinds don't fit the windowsWe ended up booking somewhere else after 10 min being here. Booking.com promised a refund and lied about it too so don't bother coming here on the off chance it's cheap and okay as you will not get a refund if you don't like it.

Good budget option for staying...

Liked: Location is good, relatively calm neighborhood, close to other spots. It is a rather budget option if you compare to the other offers in the city.
Disliked: Furniture and room itself look rather old. Some maintenance is needed. There was a mobile phone of the stuff person that we could contact in case of questions. This person was barely answering. There is no proper window isolation, at night you can here everything that is happening on the street.

Disliked: Incredibly disappointed we had booked 3 nights and checked out after the first night. The rating on booking.com does not reflect the property and the photos are very deceiving the room is MUCH smaller than it appears. We felt incredibly unsafe, there is no soundproofing and I think many of the reviews are fakes. Our door could of easily been broken into if shoved, we had no water the first morning in any taps with no warning, the bed was unstable and the shower had mould. Stay away at all costs

Liked: Super noisy on Van Ness with sirens, trucks and lots of shouting noises late night. Location perfect. No human contact. All done by email...no good when internet connection doesn’t work . Reasonable clean accommodation. Microwave in room but no bowl, plate, glass, cup or cutlery. No good if you want self catered breakfast!

Not Worth It.

Liked: It was a graffiti clad abandoned looking building that you check yourself into using a code. No staff on site. Rooms were ridiculously small. No on-site facilities. No room cleans / makeup. Marks on the room door where people had attempted to break in. No safe in room. Original elevator from the early 1900's is inconvenient to use but has a novelty factor. Would not stay here again nor recommend anyone else stay here.
Disliked: All of the above.
