Delightful visit to another era...

Liked: It’s an original, mid-century tiki-themed hotel!!! And those are exceptionally rare these days. It was a delightful step back into that time. The pool is huge and beautiful and the shady lawn area was an extra treat. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, never to busy to skip a “hello”. The Reef is a charming and comfy spot for grabbing a bite or enjoying a tropical beverage. Kudos to the bar staff for great tiki classics, and some enjoyable modern takes.

Liked: The tiki bar was cute
Disliked: The fridge was too small and it was very bare on amenities. Didn’t feel clean.Wish there was a microwave.The office was closed and we waited for almost 20 minutes before anyone showed up to check us in.

Exceptional

Nice place to stay. Loved...

Liked: The staff was friendly and efficient. The facility was easy to maneuver around, but the room numbers could be a bit larger as it was difficult to see them at nite. The pool area was very inviting and clean. Location was great.
Disliked: Our sink faucet was a bit jacked up, so it was difficult to regulate between hot and cold water. Also, there was a leak under the sink that we hadn't noticed at first. Unfortunately, it soaked items that we had stowed down there to keep them out of the way.

Pleasant

Liked: The price was reasonable, and the staff was friendly. The food at Sanchos was delicious, as well.
Disliked: The room was not in very good shape. The wallpaper was ripped, and the carpet was stained. There were patches that had been painted with paint that didn't match. There was no soap to be used at the sink.

Very expensive for very low...

Liked: The location was ok
Disliked: The room wasn’t cleaned properly. One bed had stains all over the blanket. The shower still had hairs in it and on the bathroom floor. There was blood or some blood looking liquid on the wallpaper next to the sink. The lamp next to the bed was broken and the switch was hanging out of the wall & the bedside alarm clock was broken.

Great place to stay for...

Liked: Great deal for the price. Good location and nice pool. Restaurant staff was nice. Would definitely stay again!
Disliked: The room is a little outdated and the restaurant is a little pricy but again for the price of the room I thought it was great.
